So here is our 5/12/10 - 20 week ultrasound. For the past month we have been questioning whether we are having a girl or boy. Dr. V told us last month that the heartbeat sounded like a girl!!! We had not even talk about girls names. So we went to Dr. V yesterday and he said again, "so your still having a girl." The heartbeat was still 152 which would be high for a boy. So the anticipation of this Ultrasound was HIGH!! We also wanted to to see that the Blood clot was going and the placenta was high and in a good spot. AND IT WAS!!! GREAT News! That was the more important part. Because what ever sex this baby is, it will be loved and celebrated! (By the way - As I type, Betsy says the baby is moving to Daughtry singing on Idol)
So we are having a BOY!!!! Which makes us feel good that we haven't been calling our little girl a boys name this whole time. The top picture to the right is on its side. It is a picture of his legs with an arrow pointing at our little man's junk. Everything looks great and health, mommy and son!! The is the best news.
So I would like to introduce you to Mr. Weston David Bowers. Or as he will be called West.

I'm so freakin' excited for you two! This is the BEST adventure you will ever go on...full of smiles, tears, laughter, joy, immeasurable love, and happiness! Love you THREE soooo much!
ReplyDeleteHi Matt and Betsy! Congratulations! It's your mother's ol' buddy Alice Wootton. Ellen and I have had a blast talking about grandbabies. We are expecting our first grandbaby in August. We just found out that it's a girl. We haven't a clue about the name. I guess we'll have to wait on that. Our grandbaby will be so far away from us in Mexico. I wonder who's grandmother brag book will be bigger....mine or Ellen's? Ha!!
