Doctor's Appointment - And the Lineman

So we had our 37th week appointment this week with the doctor. Everything seems to be in line. So Betsy is not dilated yet and Weston's head is not engaged yet. So because of that he recommended that we have an Ultrasound. We went in on Thursday for the Ultrasound and got the update.

So Weston is head down with his face looking at Betsy's right hand. That puts his rear end up under her heart on the left side. Weston also has his 2 feet up underneath her right side ribs! That explains why Betsy has had bad back pain on that side for the last 3 weeks! We also got to see his chubby cheeks!!

Speaking of chubby, HE IS HUGE!!! He is already 8lbs 3oz!!! We still have 3 weeks to go. With a weight gain of 0.5lbs per week that puts Weston's weight at 9lbs 11oz at birth!!!!!!!!! That is crazy! So she said that the measurements can be +/- 1lbs. So Weston could be 8lbs 11oz, 9lbs 11oz or 10lbs 11oz!!! So we were think a Linebacker but now we maybe looking at a Defensive End!

So his size may be why his head is not engaged. (if it is to big) Our next appointment is on the 20th and the due date is still the 29th. We had hoping and praying for a vaginal birth but we are realistic that he might be to big. Betsy kept asking Weston to keep growing throughout the pregnancy and Weston listened!
