Big Bear Lake Trip

We took a Family Trip to Big Bear Lake on February 12th and 13th. We rented a wonderful house on the lake with a Hot Tub and Pool Table. But the trip was not as planned.

Aunt Abby was sick with an ear infection and could not come up with Uncle Dogan to the mountain elevation. On the way up on Friday, Aiden got sick with the 24 hour Flu. He gave that to Clint and then to Holly!! It was a rough trip for them. Aunt Karah, being the awesome aunt that she is, was a great help with entertaining Aiden as the parents tried to recover.

We kept Weston away from the germs as much as possible and he had a great time. Even with the illnesses, we had a great time and enjoyed just being away from the house. The weather was 56 degrees!!! and ended any thoughts of Dad skiing on Saturday or Weston seeing any snow as it all had melted.

Here is the view from the back patio of the house. The Hot Tube was on the patio below, right off the water. Betsy and Karah had a great time relaxing in the tub and enjoying the view.

Aiden did feel better on Saturday and Sunday. This is him thinking of eating.

It was a pajama kind off weekend. Stay in, enjoy the view and sit in your pajamas.
